Rachelle Rhienne is an award winning Singer/Songwriter/Recording Artist from Loch Lomond, Scotland. Her genre of music consists of catchy up-tempo pop tracks, with some influences of soul and R&B. Her strength is writing big, emotional power ballads with lyrics that tell a story and melodies that touch people. She has been influenced and inspired by the likes of Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson. She is inspired by the writing styles of Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and James Bay.
In 2019 Rachelle had her TV debut featuring as a judge in the hit BBC Series ‘All Together Now’ as part of ‘the 100’, alongside head judge - Spice Girl Geri Horner. The show is due to air at the beginning of March.
Rachelle has been involved in many collaborative writing projects with songwriters from the UK and the US in the past few years and will be continuing to do in the next year. Rachelle writes many of her songs about her own personal experiences and writes emotional and touching lyrics that she feels will relate to her fans. Many of her songs including Greenlight, Captivity, Loving You Is Easy and her Christmas song "When The Snow Is Falling Down" have won awards in song writing Competitions. In 2015, her song "The Chance To Say" won the national Future Music song writing competition in London.
Rachelle has a passion for the Spanish language and has translated many of her songs into Spanish, performing them in Spain and gigs around the UK. Rachelle’s live shows include the Glasgow SEC Armadillo, King Tuts, The Hippodrome (London), Ronnie Scotts and various other venues around the UK and Europe. She loves to dance and is trained in Ballet, Tap, Lyrical and Hip Hop, and is hoping to bring her dance skills into her music videos and performances in the future. In the upcoming months, Rachelle will be working on new music, collaborating with producers in London, LA and New York.
